The 6th International VETNET Conference “Crossing Boundaries” (21–23 May 2025, Palma, Mallorca) was a great success!

A vibrant mosaic of perspectives emerged – crossing disciplines, methods, and borders – united by a shared commitment to rethinking VET as a space for personal growth, social inclusion, and democratic participation. Key themes included the impact of structural inequalities, transitions across the life course, or the development of VET professionals.

The conference volume contains 70 contributions reflecting the diverse and dynamic field of VET research in 2025. Under the central theme “Towards Inclusive and Egalitarian Vocational Education and Training: Key Challenges and Strategies from a Holistic and Multi-Contextual Approach”, the authors address key issues related to access, participation, learning outcomes, and reforms in vocational education across different regions and contexts.

All presentations are published in the Conference Proceedings.
