On 29th of october a first meeting took place in Brussels between representatives of VETNET (M. Gessler & M. Mulder) and the acting head (J. Santos) as well as the team leaders (Mantas Sekmokas, Norbert Schoebel, Paul Holdsworth and Carlo Scatoli) of the Directorate General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, Unit Vocational Training and Adult Education. Topics of the meeting were double-sided information about progresses in each fields (VET politics & VET research) and a productive explorative collection of possibilities for cooperation. Further meetings were agreed. First joint actions are expected in 2016, the 20th anniversary of VETNET.
