Palgrave Studies in Technical and Vocational Education and Training
We are pleased to invite colleagues to submit book proposals for Palgrave Studies in Technical and Vocational Education and Training
Co-edited by Lázaro Moreno Herrera, Marianne Teräs, Petros Gougoulakis and Janne Kontio.
This series explores the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), emphasising the various dimensions involved in research, policymaking, and practices of teaching and learning. The series highlights the diverse tensions, challenges, and research issues in various national TVET systems, as well as cross-national aspects.
Contributions to the series will enhance knowledge and insights within the field, drawing on empirical research and theoretical or conceptual analyses. The editors welcome contributions from diverse TVET contexts worldwide, as well as cross-national studies. The series is designed to stimulate intellectual debate and influence practices at various levels of TVET implementation.
Unique to the series is an understanding of TVET as a complex field, where research problems and new knowledge are located and interact at macro, meso and micro levels, consequently demanding a multidisciplinary, theoretically and methodologically diverse research approach. The role of TVET in sustainable development will be given particular attention.
Springer Lifelong Learning Series
We are pleased to invite colleagues to submit book proposals for the Springer Lifelong Learning Series co-edited by Karen Evans and Natasha Kersh.
The Lifelong Learning Series aims to bring together established authors who build on a strong platform of previous work to develop their themes and positions, alongside new-generation authors who introduce novel ideas and perspectives. Lifelong learning is presented in this Series in all its versatility. Accordingly, lifelong learning is referred to as an idea, a concept, an approach, a method, a programme, a strategy, even a philosophy or worldview. Common foci are the practices of individual, organisational and collective learning as well as the development of people, communities, and societies.
We welcome proposals for edited volumes, co-authored books, and single-author monographs on any aspect of lifelong learning. There is no deadline, and we are happy to consider your proposals at any time! The series is abstracted and indexed in Scopus.
For further details and to look at our previously published titles, please see https://www.springer.com/series/6227. Open Access options are possible. You are welcome to contact Karen and Natasha with any queries. We would be happy to discuss informally any initial ideas for book proposals!
