The “International Journal for Research in Vocational Education and Training (IJRVET)” published its first issue in August 2014 and its second issue in December 2014 with altogether 8 articles in 2014. In the first year around 600 users visited the journal. In the second year, 2015, four issues have been published in April, August, November (Special Issue) and December with altogether 18 articles in 2015. In the second year already 3.170 users could have been registered with onsite activities: The avg. session duration time is around 6 minutes, with 2.000 article reads and downloads in 2014 and 15.000 article reads and downloads in 2015.

This growth is for us a clear signal in favour of the Open Access Community Approach of IJRVET. We want to express our sincere thanks to our readers and to the members of the editorial advisory board, the reviewers and the technical support team, without whom this wouldn´t have been possible.
